The Whanganui Potters' Studio creates an annual exhibition to display and sell ceramic work created by it's talented club members. The Whanganui Arts Centre's gallery space is transformed for a week, into a ceramic wonderland, showcasing artwork, homewares and trinkets. Last year, 2021 the talented and knowledgeable Rob Housley was our guest artist. The exhibition featured his cloud bowls and Castlecliff 'mole' inspired artwork.
Many of the exhibited work found themselves donning a red sticker; finding themselves a home. This year we plan on including an online showing of the works ensuring nobody missing out on seeing the work from Whanganui's local talent.
